After graduating from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he was selected to complete his residency in comprehensive dentistry at Hampton Veterans Administration Medical Center.
To further extend his skills, Dr. Lynch chose The Dawson Academy and Dr. Peter E. Dawson for training in both functionality and aesthetics in dental care. He further studied with Spear Education and Dr. Frank Spear to improve both clinical results and efficient management. Further classes with The Pankey Institute taught him how to restore smiles and balance to the function of teeth and jaws.
To assist those patients who are barred from receiving care because of extreme anxieties, Dr. Lynch added studies with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Conscious sedation enables patients to find relief from both fear and pain while they remain conscious.
Dr. Lynch has been recognized as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This award is only given after hundreds of hours of advanced dental education and successful completion of a comprehensive examination. Only one percent of dentists in America achieve this distinction.
Further recognitions include appearing on the peer-selected list of “Top Dentists” in Northern Virginia Magazine in both 2009 and 2011. And the Consumer Research Council of America nominated him as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” basing their decision on length of time in practice, extent of continuing education and qualifications in dental specialties.
